NuWa History

As the oldest existing manufacturer of fifth wheels, NuWa has a tradition of fifth wheel innovation that dates back to 1969.  NuWa also brings with them a 30 year reputation for reliability and livability that is unprecedented in the campground.

NuWa products have passed the test of time.  During those 30 years that NuWa has built 5th wheels, and the 23 years we have built glide rooms, many competitors have tried to capture our success.  NuWa was one of the four manufacturers who created the Fifth Wheel concept that took advantage of Classic's then-new hitch.  For more than a quarter of a century, we've introduced the major innovations, created the greatest variety of floorplans and perfected fabrication standards.  That's why the NuWa name has become synonymous with the best fifth wheel units in the market.

MCD Provides NuWa Window Shade Products

NuWa is now offering the MCD American Duo™ shades as an option in their 2010 line-up.  NuWa designer/coordinator Lori Reinhardt stated, “We are guided by the comments of our customers who suggest improvements and request new features in our products. Recently, some of our customers from the NuWa Owners Forum were discussing MCD shades, so we decided to prototype the shade to gauge the response. Wow!  The customers that have seen the shade quickly understand the benefit to cost ratio and think it is a very high quality product.”
